The Glyptotek in the centre of Copenhagen exhibits an impressive collection of antique art and works from the 19th and 20th centuries in magnificent surroundings. The museum was founded by brewer Carl Jacobsen (1842-1914). The Glyptotek's permanent collection contains around 10,000 works of art divided into two main collections.
