The Weyerbusch tower in Wuppertal looks like something from a Disney film: The fairy-tale tower with spire and fortress walls could be Rapunzel's home. You will find the tower at the highest point in Nützenberg park. Unfortunately, there is no access to the tower, probably for visitor safety. You can find out more about the history of the tower on information boards outside.
The tower was built in 1898, and is today surrounded by a renowned playground, where children can have fun with, among other things, climbing. You can go on a picnic in the park, and take pleasant walks in the park's many trail systems, where there are several good playgrounds. The park is especially praised for the magical tower, the beautiful nature and the good playgrounds. You can possibly combine the visit with a trip to the Green Zoo in Wuppertal.
