Saltholmen

Saltholmen is a perfect starting point to experience Gothenburg's beautiful archipelago. From the ferry terminal there are countless archipelago ferries to cosy islands such as Styrsjö, Vrången and Brännö. All of the archipelago islands are car-free and are perfect excursion destinations for enjoying the archipelago's beautiful scenery. During the summer months, you can also take a dip in the sea at Aspholmen, Saltholmen's bathing spot. It is easily accessible by tram line 11. Tickets for the archipelago boats are valid with the Western Transport Card and can also be purchased at the ferry terminal.
