Go on a driving holiday in Denmark and enjoy the many beautiful cities that are hidden around the country. But there are also many beautiful castles and one of them is north of Juelsminde. Here you will find Palsgaard Castle, where you can visit the beautiful castle park, which with its 38 acres of land is one of Denmark's largest castle parks. In the park you can see many rare trees and plants, which were planted in the period 1835-57 by the then owner, the Danish diplomat, Holger Christian Reedtz. The park was given its present appearance by the English garden architect Milner, who laid out the park for Baron Frederik Wedel Jarlsberg. The park is open to the public from 8am until sunset. Find a cheap self-drive holiday with child-friendly hotels at Risskov and get away with the whole family to discover Juelsminde and Palsgaard Castle.
