Take the whole family on holiday in Sweden and visit the Karlskrona Maritime Museum, an exciting maritime museum packed with experiences for both adults and children. The museum has plenty of activities for children, such as the Seamen's Workshop, the Sea Day School, Dunder's Deck, the Ship Simulator and not least the ship's dog Pricken, who hides around the museum.
For older visitors, there are plenty of exhibits ranging from figureheads to submarines. The Maritime Museum also has an archive, which houses everything not shown in the exhibitions. In total, the museum has more than 55,000 objects, 20,000 drawings, 250 linear metres of archival documents, 500,000 photos and around 20,000 books, all dealing with the history and development of the navy over the centuries.
