Holstebro is a lively commercial city located in northern West Jutland. In the heart of the town you will find cosy streets and Denmark's second oldest pedestrian street (built in 1962), where you will find a large selection of shops, specialty stores, cafés and restaurants such as Det Gamle Apotek, Støberiet or Under Klippen. But the city also offers museums, fine art and cultural experiences. Don't miss the bronze sculpture Woman on a Cart, located in front of the Old Town Hall in the pedestrian street. The sculpture is now so valuable that it has to be lowered into the ground every night to avoid being stolen. Holstebro and its surroundings offer many sights, activities, cultural and natural experiences for the whole family and it is an obvious destination for a self-drive holiday to Jutland.
