It is an old, worn hotel, but nothing was lacking.

It was a lovely stay; the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy.
The service was excellent. The room was a little worn but cosy and clean. The food was good and there was plenty on the plate.
The kitchen closes too early. Check-in at 15:15, coffee at 16:00, dinner at 17:30; otherwise the kitchen would not be able to manage a three-course menu before closing time.
