The Hjerl Hede open-air museum displays a collection of small cultural environments and elements of the Danish village community. Here you can discover regional variations in building and interior design and see how people lived and worked 100-200 years ago. Hjerl Hede also has Denmark's oldest known farmhouse, Vinkelgården from 1546, which is definitely worth a trip when you are on a summer or family holiday in Jutland.
