Kongenshus Kro & Hotel

About the hotel

Kongenshus Kro & Hotel is part of Kongenshus Mindepark, one of the country's largest moorland areas of approx. 1,200 hectares with its own memorial valley, built in memory of the moor's cultivators. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel you can visit the Nature Center, where you can gain insight into the natural and cultural history of the moors and what life was like for the people who cultivated the moors since the end of the 18th century. 

Viborg town is about a 20-minute drive away and offers exciting sights, shopping, cafés and restaurants. Culture enthusiasts can visit Viborg Cathedral, the world's largest granite church. You can also have a fun day at the Energy Museum, where you can learn more about the history of energy and green energy. Hald Ege Miniregnskov offers a fun and educational day with marmosets, fish, birds and beautiful plant species. 

The rooms

The hotel's 13 rooms are simply and nicely furnished with TV. Some of the rooms have their own bathroom and toilet, while other rooms can be booked at a lower price as they share a bathroom and toilet with other guests.
