Wangerooge

Wangerooge is the smallest of the seven inhabited German East Frisian islands, and lies to the east of the archipelago, just off the coast of Carolinensiel. The island attracts masses of tourists every year. The island's slogan also reflects its tranquil atmosphere: "God created time, but he never mentioned haste!" The island offers a wealth of experiences, spas and activities. There's everything from guided tours of the UNESCO-listed Wadden Sea, golf, volleyball and playgrounds to spas, massages, bathing areas, planetariums and beautiful old lighthouses.
