The city has just over 100,000 inhabitants and there are plenty of shopping opportunities. At the same time, the city has a number of very special houses and buildings, which give a special touch to the city.

The river Meuse flows through the city. The new district around the Massboulevard is the perfect starting point for a visit to the city. You can stroll through the old town with its beautifully coloured houses. Also visit the town hall.

One thing that is very popular is the market on the market square Monseigneur Nolensplein (Saturday 08:00 - 14:00).
