Ven

Ven is a scenic island in the Øresund, located between Denmark and Skåne, and is best known for its beautiful scenery and many good hiking and cycling routes. The island is just under 12 km in circumference and is a perfect destination for a day trip when the weather is suitable. For those who wish to stay overnight on the island, this is also possible, but it is both easy and quick to get there and back from Landskrona and here you have a more central base for a longer stay.

During a summer holiday in or near Landskrona, it's a great idea to take a trip to the beautiful island. From Landskrona you can enjoy a pleasant ferry ride of just 30 minutes to Ven, which is very popular during the summer months.

Ven is best experienced on two wheels and you can either bring bikes on the ferry itself or choose to rent a bike on the island. Please note that if you are bringing bikes, they must be notified in advance - especially during the high season. You can read more about this on Landskrona's own website.
