The Suhl Museum of Arms

The museum has three floors with exhibitions of different weapons and here visitors also get the whole history of weapon production. From the extraction of the raw materials to the craftsmanship and production of the different weapons.

Suhl has been a centre for weapon production throughout history, and the museum can therefore provide an unusual insight into the production of pistols and rifles in particular. Modern weapons are also produced, as well as sports weapons for Olympic competitors, made in Suhl of course!

There is a display of pistol production and the tools used, and in general there is an excellent display of historical and modern weapons, duelling pistols, military weapons, precision weapons and an extensive display of air rifles.
