Oppdalsmuseet

Oppdalsmuseet is located in scenic surroundings close to the centre of Oppdal. Here you can get an exciting insight into local rural life from the late 1500s to the mid 1900s. The museum consists of various wooden houses, which show varying building traditions from the village. Discover exhibitions on crafts, skiing, schooling and textile handicrafts, for example. The museum offers guided tours, craft activities and you can also buy local literature, coffee and cake. Please note that the museum has limited opening hours on selected weekdays during the summer season.
