Nuremberg

Nuremberg has an impressive history and offers a wealth of opportunities to explore its many exciting highlights. The main highlight is of course the magnificent old imperial castle, Nürnberger Burg.

But although Nuremberg is primarily known for its castle, it has much more to offer than just that. For example, visit one of the world's finest zoos, the Nuremberg Tiergarten, with over 3,000 animals. Discover the fantastic cultural history museum, the Germanisches Nationalmuseum or take a tour of the City Museum Fembo-Haus and come on an interactive tour through 950 years of Nuremberg's history.

In addition, the city also hosts one of the country's oldest and most famous Christmas markets "Christkindlmarkt", which takes place from 1 to 24 December. A must if you are here during Christmas.
