Nordisk Film

Nordisk Film is the world's oldest film company and has been a part of Danish film history for more than 100 years. It all began with Ole Olsen back in 1906, when Nordisk Film was established in Valby and soon after established itself in the silent film market - ahead of competitors like Hollywood itself! Ever since, Nordisk Film has remained where it is today, playing a vital role in Danish film production both at home and on the world stage.

A visit to Nordisk Film in Valby is a must when you're on holiday nearby. During your visit, you can go on exciting tours, see various exhibitions, listen to lectures and much more. The permanent Danish Film Treasury tour gives you 75 minutes of entertainment packed with exciting stories about colourful film productions, clever film tricks and a unique look behind the scenes.
