The Kinzig is a tributary of the Rhine and runs through the Black Forest from east to west. The park at its source in the small spa town of Lossburg is popularly known as the "Zauberland der Kinzig" (Magic Land of the Kinzig) - and rightly so. Not only here, but at several places along the 95 km long tributary you will find a myriad of beautiful landscapes and sceneries, interesting attractions and activities. Among them the idyllic Kinzigsee, and a large water playground. There are also some charming villages along the river, with Alpirsbach and Wolfach particularly worth a visit.
