Mågålaupet

If you are on a self-drive holiday, it is not far from Oppdal to the Mågålaupet attraction, known for its beautiful waterfalls, rock formations. There are opportunities to swim in quiet spots in the river, and you can also hike in the area and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The Driva River flows through a canyon with great force, and it is clear to see how the water has worn the edge of the rocks over the years. The Mågålaup is not suitable for small children as there are no railings along the cliffs and large gaps between the rocks.
