Liatoppen Ski Center

In the middle of the fjellheimen, a full 920 metres above sea level, lies Liatoppen Skisenter in Ål in Hallingdal. This is one of the area's many ski destinations, but the slope network at Liatoppen is the only one in Hallingdal certified to international standards. Here winter comes early, as early as October, and usually lasts almost until May. If you want to take a break, it might be good to know that Liatoppen has a barbecue hut, benches and a fire pit.
