The Iron Age village is a recreated ancient environment, built on the basis of archaeological excavations dating to the period 1-400 A.D. The village was built in 1973 as an employment project and was expanded in the following years. Today, the Iron Age Village functions as a historical workshop where children and adults gain insight into the living conditions of our ancestors through theory and practice. Here you can work with old crafts, such as spinning wool, forging knives and cooking, and gain insights and lessons on your holiday in Denmark!
