Ilene nature reserve

Both Tønsberg and Ilene Nature Reserve south of Oslo are popular destinations for ornithologists, with their splendid birdlife. In late summer you will see large flocks of greylag geese and in autumn you will see many species of the sparrow family. Herons also make an appearance, as do a wide variety of interesting birds of prey.
