Hammeren Lighthouse, positioned on the highest elevation of Hammerknuden in Bornholm, Denmark. Built in 1872 from locally quarried granite, the lighthouse stands 82 meters above sea level. Its unique location sometimes causes its light to be obscured by low clouds or fog, leading to the construction of the smaller Hammerodde Lighthouse in 1895 for additional navigational aid. No longer in regular service since 1990, Hammeren Lighthouse still shines at night and is open to the public, offering free entry and a stunning panoramic view of North Bornholm and the Southeast coast of Sweden.
