When the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics were underway, the Olympic Mountain Hall opened in the host town of Gjøvik. Today it is the world's largest public hall built into the mountain not far from Gjøvik town centre.
Also discover Norway's largest exhibition of stone excavations, and try a guided tour and experience the Norwegian Olympics and historical moments. Ice skates are also available for hire, although not during the summer months, or how about a walk on the cliff face.
