The observation tower in Wingst is probably the oldest attraction in the municipality. As far back as 1860, a 7-metre high tower was inaugurated, which has since been renovated in several stages. Today the tower is 23 metres high and offers a fantastic view over Wingst and the Elbe, Brunsbüttel and the North Sea. If you like to get a bit higher and enjoy a breathtaking view, a trip to the Aussichtsturm Deutscher Oplymp is definitely worth taking on your self-drive holiday in Northern Germany.
