Engsö Castle

The well-maintained Engsö Slott is an old manor house located on the island of Ängsön in Lake Mälaren. If you are visiting on a weekend, the castle is open to visitors and a guide can offer a guided tour, giving you an insight into the castle's history and interiors. There is also a church in connection with the castle, which is worth a visit. Outside the castle, there are various exciting hiking trails with beautiful scenery leading to hidden lakes where you can take a nice dip or sunbathe.
