Ebermannstadt

Go on a cheap car holiday in Germany and visit the town of Ebermannstadt. This small town is located about 10 km northeast of the administrative town of Forchheim, and is a certified FairTrade town. Over time, the town has also gained a bit of a tourist status, not least because of its large, attractive open-air swimming pool, campsite, golf course and several other outdoor sports areas.

The city also offers a unique excursion with the historic steam train "Dampfbahn Fränkische Schweiz", which takes you on a ride through the beautiful countryside.

You should also stop by the Feuerstein Observatory, which offers guided tours and where, on clear nights, you might be lucky enough to get a really good look at the Universe.
