Dalslands Kunstmuseum is located on a hill overlooking Spången Lake. The museum is built according to a sustainable design and blends well into the old town environment. The concert hall is on the top floor and part of the lower floor is used for temporary exhibitions. The museum also exhibits art from Dalsland's masters such as Otto Hesselbom, Olof Sager-Nelson, Sixten Lundbohm and Georg Suttner. The Torstensson collection, consisting of almond furniture, copper and a remarkable silver collection, is certainly one of the highlights of Dalsland's Art Museum. The museum's old building houses Café Bonaparte and just around the corner is an exciting sculpture park. If you come by boat, there is a guest harbour where the boat can be moored.
