Go on a driving holiday in Denmark and discover the beautiful Danish gems, spread over a lot of islands and of course Jutland. Blåvand is one of the experiences waiting to be discovered, and there is a lot to see and do in Blåvand, in the middle of nature, close to the beach and the North Sea, and in fact the range of experiences is very large for both adults and all ages.
Take the family under your arm and stop by Blåvand Badeland, which also has a dripstone cave, a paddling pool for the little ones, a large swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. There are also four water slides, try the 'black hole' if you're up for it.
Then there's Blåvands Bolchekogeri, where buns are made from recipes dating back to 1864, or how about a trip to the beaches and a visit to the Tirpitz station. Also known as 'Battery Bird's Nest', this position was part of the Atlantic defences built by the Germans along the shores of the North Sea.
No less exciting is to walk bent over on the shore in search of amber and here Blåvand beach is a really good place to start. Remember that after a storm the chances of finding the gold of the sea are greater. Go on a self-drive holiday with Risskov, find a child-friendly hotel and explore Blåvand.
