Via Ferrata - Möllschlucht

Möllschlucht is a huge gorge at the foot of the Großglockner and here is an exciting hiking route, with 420 m of steel cable through the Moll gorge just before Heiligenblut. A 'Via Ferrata' is a protected climbing route found in the Alps and some other places. A modern Via Ferrata is a steel cable that runs along the route and is periodically attached to the rock, so that with the help of a 'Via Ferrata kit' you can connect to the cable and move safely over rushing waterfalls and dangerous cliffs.

The tour includes the Heiligenblut church with the famous mountaineering cemetery and with a bit of luck there is also a view of the summit of Großglockner.
