Veli Zal

There are many beautiful coastal stretches along the island of Losinj, which also includes quite a few beaches. Probably the most famous is Veli Zal, located in Suncana uvala, or the 'sunny bay'. From the centre of Mali Lošinj, which is the largest town on the island, it is only a 20-minute walk down to the beautiful beach, which has also been awarded international prizes for cleanliness and good quality. There are toilets, showers and changing rooms as well as sun loungers with parasols.
