Titran
Titran is a small but historically significant fishing village located on the westernmost tip of Frøya, an island in Trøndelag, Norway. Exposed to the vast Norwegian Sea, the village is known for its dramatic coastal scenery, rich maritime heritage, and deep connection to fishing traditions. The village offers visitors a peaceful retreat by the sea, with opportunities for coastal hikes, birdwatching, and boat trips to explore the surrounding islands.
Titran’s most famous landmark is Sletringen Lighthouse, Norway’s tallest lighthouse, standing at 52 meters. It has guided sailors through the often treacherous waters since 1899.
