The Viking village of Storholmen
A popular excursion is to the Viking town of Storholmen, a 15-minute drive from Norrtälje. During the summer you can see and learn more about the Viking Age and the crafts and activities of the Vikings. Why not take the opportunity and try your hand at glass bead making, blacksmithing, crafts or baking your own bread. In the exhibition hall you will find information about the everyday life of the Vikings and you will also be able to see reconstructed objects and models. The Viking village of Storholmen also offers guided tours, storytelling, adventure and souvenir sales. Guesthouse, pizzeria and beach are within walking distance.
