The Three Ports

Right in the centre of Carolinensiel is the "Alte Hafen" also known as the "Museumshafen", with the historic flat-bottomed sailing boats. A big attraction in winter is the 'floating Christmas tree', which literally makes the whole old harbour light up and sparkle. In the adjoining marina, sailing ships and motor boats idyllically dance. A walk along the dyke alongside the lock gate reveals the outer harbour. From here, fishing boats and excursion boats sail out into the North Sea and to the islands.
