Den Blå Planet, Denmark's Aquarium, is Northern Europe's largest aquarium and offers a unique experience for children and adults. With Den Blå Planet, Denmark once again has a world-class national aquarium and a new architectural landmark. The Blue Planet has water on all sides and is designed to give visitors a feeling of being under the surface of the sea. The new building consists of five "arms" extending from the centre. This allows visitors to choose their own route around the aquarium to see the exotic creatures underwater. You can get up close to a total of 20,000 fish and sea creatures, spread across 53 aquariums with a total of seven million litres of water.
