Sylt

During your stay, a trip to the island of Sylt (south of Rømø) is a must. On the northern tip is the town of List and on the southern tip is Hörnum. Along the island there are beautiful white beaches, lovely dunes and interesting towns. The shape of the island has often changed over the years and is still changing. This of course over a long period of time and the island's current shape has only been around for about 400 years. Sylt used to be part of Denmark. Today there are about 12,000 inhabitants on Sylt. Sylt has 40 km of fine sandy beach and there are many exciting opportunities for activities, including swimming, beach gymnastics and more. In winter it is possible to visit a beach sauna.
