Slavkov Forest
Also known as the Emperor's Forest, the forest is located between the three cities of Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázné and Františkovy Lázně. The three cities are also known as the Spa Triangle, as all of them are famous for their spa holidays. The forest also serves as a nature reserve and has several good trails. This forested area, part of the larger Bohemian Massif, features rolling hills, dense woodlands, peat bogs, and mineral springs, making it a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Slavkov Forest is rich in flora and fauna, with many rare species finding refuge within its boundaries. Visitors can enjoy hiking, cycling, and birdwatching along its network of trails, while also exploring unique natural landmarks like the Kladská Peat Bog and Soos Nature Reserve.
