Rønnebæksholm

Just outside Næstved lies the beautiful old manor, Rønnebæksholm. The estate has played a central role over the years for different owners and different purposes. Since 1994 the estate has been owned by the municipality of Næstved. In 1999 Næstved City Council approved the statutes of the Independent Institution Rønnebæksholm Art and Culture Centre. Their task is now to organise cultural events and to purchase art and sculptures for the collection. The park is open to the public and concerts, exhibitions, guided tours and lectures are held in the main building all year round. The park has also hosted opera and theatre events.
