Mountain hiking in Rysstad

Rysstad is the perfect place for the possibility of hiking in the mountains both for day trips and for longer hikes. There are many marked hiking trails in the area. The routes are at least 1-2 hours long. The routes include Rysstad's turpark, Løefjødd, Ulvedalsfjeldet, Kvisletoppen, Vardefjeld and Gloppefoss. The mountains in these areas are attracting more and more climbers. Climbers come from all over Europe. There are over 200 climbing routes, including Løefjeld, Hækni, Nomelandsfjeldet and Straumfjeldet. Straumfjeldet is home to Northern Europe's longest Via Ferrata (clear tracks equipped with steel cables, iron ladders and bridges).
