Lake Sainte-Croix

Lake Sainte-Croix is a striking turquoise reservoir in southeastern France, nestled between the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Var departments. Created in 1974 by the construction of the Sainte-Croix Dam, it is now one of the largest lakes in the region and a centerpiece of the Verdon Regional Natural Park.
