Kleva mine

Kleva Gruva was used between 1671 and 1920, first to mine copper and later nickel. During its operation, the mine was closed and reopened several times as metal prices went up and down, and mining was only profitable when the price was high. Since 1991 the mine has been open to tourists, who can now explore the old mine galleries with a helmet and torch.
