Holsterturm

If you are interested in history, a cheap summer holiday in the middle of Germany with a visit to the Holsterturm is highly recommended. One of Nieheim's landmarks, the Holsterturm is a lookout tower that looks back on more than 700 years of history on the heights of the Holsterberg, south of Nieheim's city centre. Located in the Eggegebirge Nature Park, several of the area's hiking trails will take you past the tower. From the tower you can enjoy a lovely view of the scenic surroundings.
