Holstein Switzerland Nature Park

The Holsteinische Schweiz Nature Park covers an area of no less than 72,000 hectares, making it the largest nature area in Schleswig-Holstein. Here you will find over 200 small and large lakes surrounded by hills, forests and fields, interspersed with idyllic small towns and beautiful manor houses. Because of the many lakes, the area is popular for water sports activities ranging from canoeing to fishing. Of course, there are countless opportunities for beautiful walks in the area. Another wonderful experience is a boat trip on the lakes, where you can get up close to nature and the local birdlife.
