Hidra contains interesting stories from the Viking Age but also from 2. World War. Here you can see the coastal battery, Hågåsen, which was built during the war as part of the German Atlantic fortress. From here you have a fantastic view and it is also a really nice area to hike in if you want an active holiday with a historical touch.
