Hemlingby Open Air Area

Visit Hemlingby Outdoor Area - an oasis in the middle of Gävle, on winter or summer holiday north of Stockholm. Here you'll find Hemlingbybacken with a snow park, several cross-country ski trails, mountain bike trails, places to barbecue, cabins and a nature trail. The Gästrike path also passes through the area. In summer, the outdoor swimming pool is open below Hemlingbystugan, which has a café/restaurant, a small gym and a sauna.

For children there is a play area, various adventure trails, skiing and ice skating. In Hemlingbystugan you can rent equipment.
