Heiligenhafen

Another protected nature area can be found a few kilometres inland, in Heiligenhafen, which is a lovely destination for a self-drive holiday for nature lovers. The Graswarder is part of the headland that forms the northern end of the town. Here you can also enjoy the rich birdlife and hike in the coastal nature. At the western end of Heiligenhafen's headland, on the Steinwarder Promenade, you can enjoy the sight of the beautiful cliffs and have a cold refreshment in a café.
