Heidelstein

Heidelstein, standing at 926 meters, is one of the prominent peaks in the Rhön Mountains, straddling the border between Bavaria and Hesse. The mountain is accessible via well-marked trails, including the renowned Hochrhöner and Rhön-Rennsteig paths, leading through diverse landscapes of meadows and forests. At the summit, visitors are greeted by expansive views stretching to the Kreuzberg and, on clear days, even to the distant Thüringer Wald.
