Frederiksberg Garden

The beautiful park on Frederiksberg runs right up to Copenhagen's ZOO and was originally built by Frederik IV. The park was to be the setting for Frederiksberg Palace, and today there are still remnants of the Baroque garden and the beautiful landscape gardens. There are lakes and canals, skating in winter, and in summer it's a great place to lie and laze in the natural and very beautiful surroundings that make the park so desirable.
