Fårö

Just north of Gotland, about 56 km from Visby, lies Fårö, which is probably best known for the fact that director Ingmar Bergman lived here. The Berman Centre is a cultural centre with an extensive programme from May to September. Fårö is also known for its sandy beaches. There are ferries from Fårösund 3 times an hour.

Small rock formations can be found all over Gotland and Fårö. See, for example, Hoburgsgubben on the southern tip.
