Döllnitzbahn & Wilder Robert
In 1885 the narrow gauge line between Oschatz and Mügeln, through the "Royal Saxon State Railways" was put into operation. Today the line belongs to the private railway association Döllnitzbahn GmbH and is mainly used for the transport of school children and tourists; and thus both small and large steam locomotive enthusiasts. On the Döllnitzbahn website you will find all the information you need, e.g. about departures and prices. And the association 'Wilder Robert' offers many good suggestions for where to take the best pictures on the trip.
