Borås is best known for its textile industry and public art. Take the opportunity to discover the city's museums, Borås Art Museum, the Textile Museum and Borås Museum. The city centre is also filled with hundreds of sculptures and impressive murals.

If you're visiting Borås in the summer, it's a good idea to bring your swimwear. There are a number of lovely places where you can swim with a sandy beach or with green areas. Some of the best bathing spots are Kypesjöns, Sandared and Frufällan.

The city has a total of 14 parks and green areas with 160 playgrounds, the largest of which is Stadsparken. Here you can take a stroll or let the kids play in the large playground with entertainment for everyone. In summer you can also take a dip in the Stadsparksbad.
